J. Michael Healy, AIC, AIM
 Coming from a background of heavy commercial construction as well as residential home building, Mike began his adjusting career with Merchants Mutual Insurance Company.
At Merchants, Mike started as a Resident Field Adjuster handling personal lines and commercial property and casualty claims in southern New Hampshire.
In 1980, Mike became a Resident Adjuster for National Grange Mutual Insurance Company, attending the Vale Tech Property Adjusting School in Chambersberg, PA. His duties included handling both homeowner’s property and casualty losses in the south central areas of New Hampshire and eastern Vermont. He was promoted to Senior Claims Adjuster in 1982.
In 1983 Mike joined the Concord Insurance Companies as a Casualty Adjuster handling all aspects of personal lines and commercial lines casualty claims. A promotion to Senior Casualty Adjuster was followed by becoming the Casualty Claims Supervisor overseeing five casualty adjusters as well as independent adjusters in various parts of the country.
In 1990 Mike was promoted to position of Home Office Claims Examiner overseeing branch offices in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, South Carolina and Massachusetts. Duties included assisting the branches in assessing complex coverage, liability and damage issues. Extending settlement authority in excess of branch retention and reporting directly to reinsurers on claims exceeding treaty retentions and requirements.
Mike has had broad exposure to claims involving catastrophic injuries and damages. Strengths include excellent communication and investigative skills, negotiating and experience in mediations and structured settlements.
