Larry Kitchen

As a kid it was building tree houses. This kid thought..."Mmm! This is fun!" Today it is helping insureds deal with trees that hit houses. Funny how the world turns!

Larry started his first job after school hours building roof trusses for CP Washburn Lumber Co. in Middleboro Ma. After high school it was off to work for Mayflower Millwork in Lakeville Ma. building the products that went into making homes! The duty to serve the country and get a better education took over and Larry enlisted in the Air Force. Home from four years of military life, Larry moved to New Hampshire and back in to the housing industry working for Riverside Millwork Co., Inc. (RIVCO) in the sales and management end of the business. During the early years with RIVCO Larry enrolled in NH College (Southern NH University); going to school evenings, weekends and summers, he earned both his Associate and Bachelor degrees. Larry was promoted to higher levels of management with RIVCO.

Not wanting to keep his hands off the tools of the trades Larry developed and operated his own small home repair and remodeling business, HMS Home Maintenance Services. After two years he went back to RIVCO to sell millwork and cabinetry to home builders and remodelers throughout southern NH.

With major changes in the housing industry, starting in 2007, Larry brought his vast experience in construction together with the insurance industry to become a licensed property adjuster in NH.

Larry is been a long standing respected member of the National and NH Home Builders Association and is now a member of the NH Adjuster Association.
