David R. Arruda
David Arruda is a veteran of 35 years of marine and recreational industry experience. A retired Senior Chief Machinery Technician, USCG, Dave has extensive experience in all aspects of boat construction, maintenance and repair, with emphasis on machinery damage and loss investigation. After leaving active duty, Dave became a member of the New Hampshire Marine Patrol, achieving a state certification as a part time police officer. He also holds a Merchant Marine Officer's License as master, inspected passenger vessels. Dave is a member of the International Association of Marine Investigators, holding a Certified Marine Investigator designation. Dave specializes in adjusting and investigating losses to boats and marine related damages, as well as recreational vehicles, snowmobiles and all forms of contractor equipment. He is currently licensed as a P/C adjuster in NH, ME, VT, CT and RI. In his off time, he enjoys participation in an offshore boat racing team, working on his home, and driving his sports car.
