Daniel E. Coons, Jr.
Dan started his career and obtained his initial training with GAB for three years before cross-training in the life and disability side of the business for another three years. He then returned to GAB where he was the Adjuster In Charge of the Portsmouth office handling all lines of claims. In 1988 he joined Gillis and Associates as an independent adjuster handling claims in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. In 1995 Merchants Insurance Group hired Dan as a Senior Claims Adjuster handling primarily property claims in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Vermont. In 2001 he joined Peerless Insurance Company where he handled primarily large losses.

In 2004, Dan left Peerless to work for Reid, Jones, McRorie & Williams as a catastrophe adjuster in Florida on claims from Hurricanes Charley, Frances and Jeanne. After three months of catastrophe adjusting, he returned to New Hampshire and joined Woodland Claim Service adjusting property claims in the Lakes Region.
